I had high expectations for this game however they weren’t there after playing. (spoiler) I didn’t like how the ended Joel’s story and I thought the writing was weak because in the first game he didn’t trust anyone not even Ellie when he first met her but after time he did. I find it odd how after the first game he would walk into a room surrounded by complete strangers that would kill him. I feel like the story should’ve been the group thinking Tommy was Joel and they killed Tommy and that would’ve infuriated Joel and Ellie. And Joel would’ve taken Tommy’s story arc in this one and go to Seattle without Ellie and Ellis would’ve gone down there with Dina as planned. Then after awhile Joel would’ve sacrificed himself for Ellie and died at the hands of Abby and she would’ve walked away. Then this would’ve made Ellie ruthless and she could’ve gone down to Santa Barbara and killed Abby in the water. I think if all of that would’ve happened, then maybe this game could have been better than the first.
