I just got through watching the entire Season 1 in one week. I enjoyed the show and look forward to watching Season 2 (if that happens - and I hope it does)! The show did irk me at times, especially with the oversexed "friend" of Maddie's. She is nothing but bad news but no one seems to understand that in this family, except for Dad. Dad seems distant and unapproachable most of the time and very harsh. I would hate to work with him in his occupation. You have to be serious but not so harsh, especially with volunteers. The kids don't seem to have to go to school and the son doesn't appear to be a wrestler type. I am a bit bothered with the clothing but not over the top like a lot of reviews. I am amazed the "7th Grader" is older than the senior in real life. I think the "family secret" would have been revealed in most families long before the climatic scenes in the 10th episode. In their own way, I liked the family members. As a retired educator, I think the school does not act appropriately in most scenarios though. I did become attached to the show and hope it will return!
