(No spoilers) People aren’t upset because of character deaths, it’s because of how they are handled. There are many more poor choices besides deaths. I would suggest reading a full summary before actually playing. If you decide to play, it’s not for the story, it’s for all the rest, which is top notch. Do not play the game if you’re in a bad state mentally. Druckman is a selfish prick who got George Lucas syndrome and let the success of the first game make him think his story is untouchable. He frequently says not to put characters on a pedestal, but that’s what he does with his own plot. The other writer literally has said that she gets off to writing gory death scenes. This is what you are getting into, so be ready.
