I think this film and its significance is excellent. I can't help but fear that the bad reviews left towards the movie simply stem from the fact that India is not willing to accept that these are real and disgusting issues of injustice people have faced and are continuing to face in India. It is even more disgusting that people are choosing to ignore that this movie is giving a light and voice to those who have been sexually assaulted. This movie tells the story of millions and millions of women and men who have experienced similar trauma to the characters Tanu and Nanki. It is a must-watch film!
