If you think this movie is about women empowerment, then totally wrong. This movies is all about cigerett, alcohol, drugs and tons of Sex & kisses. In fact the present day youth girls are shown with bad habits and the movie shows what respect simbu has for girls. And the big boss girl who made a huge drama about marutthuva muttam, kisses innumerable times on screen. Coming to story: this is just an attempted adult movie, they have spinned a story around a lot of kisses and alcohol. Even after half way through 2nd half, I was left pondering over what's the story. There have been many other adult movies recently in tamil movies like iruttu araiyil morattu kuttu, but those were fun, light hearted... but this is a shame to society. Before i finish, The songs and lyrics are bad, worst. Forget about rating, don't even watch this movie..

Wonderful movie. Just loved it till the end... LKG movie is about the political journey of the hero (RJ Balaji) and I should say he has done the role perfectly in his first movie as a hero. He has made a seemless transition from a comedian to a hero, just like he moved from a RJ to the movies. A lot of credit goes to the director as well. The dialogues are very crisp and timely and the screenplay is never dragging. Infact, the first half was over even before we realised it. The movie also spoofs a little of the political scenarios in India and brings out laughter and claps in the theatre. Priya Anand has reflected the true mentality of an corporate and has done her part well too. The timing of the release of the movie is also right considering it's election time in India. The climax was too good and gives a very important message to the public gearing up for the elections. Good to watch and get entertained

Was that a Movie? That too from murugadoss? It looks like a movie with lot of gaps. The director has tried to make the movie look realistic, tried to include 'almost' real incidents in the movie, made Sundar pitchai as Sundar (Vijay), Google as GL, and a few more, but the movie looks far from being real. A hero is always supernatural, but trying to change things within 15days seems unbelievable, especially with gaps in the movie as big as a cave for elephants to escape. No price for answering this, but here is your question: what's the role of Keethi Suresh - this is a question that even she can't answer. What's the need to have a herione if she has nothing in that movie. If nayanthara can act without a hero, why can't our heros act without a pair if there is no role for her. May be vijay still lacks the courage to move away from typecast of a duet, fight, Ghana and romance. With Rahman's music also letting us down, we feel Rahman was asked to match Vijay' s fan base than to stick to Rahman's ways. Though the director has tried to convey a very strong social and national message on the importance of voting, the story lacks the delivery. It somehow misses to grip the audience. And to top it All, it is said that this was a story taken from a junior director... If you watch the Movie, just ensure to carry home the message and vote in all elections. If you dont watch, still cast your votes and be happy that you saved 200 Rs.

Good movie... enjoyed watching it. Very good acting by all. Right actors chosen for each Characters... should watch... Now to story... 3 sons try to occupy the seat of father as a don and are ready to go to any extent. They keep plotting each others downfall. What happens and who wins forms the climax. The screenplay has been carefully framed to keep suspense as well as to ensure Fast pace. Good work by director. The heros add aggression to the movie while the heroines add charm. Don't try to guess the story based on reviews and watch it in theatre to enjoy the good work of cameraman.

Weather you like the movie or not depends on your expectations from the movie... don't go with some expectation of a good story or action... this film wouldn't qualify for any technical aspects like screen play, acting, stunts or even good story line... If you want to enjoy this movie, have an good understanding of what's a spoof film. You may need to correlate each scene to the movie and actors that they are imitating. If you can identify 60% of them, you have done a good job. This movie is for only those who can grasp the humour and want a light hearted fun for 3 hours... suggest you to go with a open mind, fully aware that this is a spoof movie... The spoofing starts not from the opening scene or from the titles...it starts from the movie certificate itself... it says Tamil Padam 2.0. Then the titles start with spoofing Rajnikant's superstar title. And hero introduction spoofs Vishal... I enjoyed this whole movie to the core, though few people nearby dint enjoy it.

Shankar has disappointed us once again. This is a toy story with maximum graphics. I thought his previous movie 'I' was one rare movie that failed to attract us, but this movie too falls under same category. Directors tries to Mix science and super natural things (which he still tries to convince us as science). This, I think is the wrong footing in the movie. And rajnikanth trying to control super natural things through science reminds me only of Rajnikanth jokes. The story and flashback clearly justify akshaykumars intent, but still he is picturised in negative role with rajnikanth winning over him... don't understand how to accept this. There is a scene where akshaykumar in his speech tries to convince an audience on the ill effects of mobiles signals and all parties either go away or fall asleep, but Shankar believed the same subject would attract the theatre audience. But not all is bad here... the technology and graphics are awesome, 3d effects are brilliant, Rajni looks much younger and heroine has a good role to play. ARR background music is apt, though there Is only one song towards the end. For all those bored of seeing the usual masala movie, this movie is a break, you can enjoy the graghics and 3D. But if you aren't a tech freak , you may not find much of humour, action, logic and emotions that are the usual ingredients of Shankar movie. The only message in the movie also gets diluted with Rajni's victory over akshay.
