One of the most inspiring, intelligent, heart-warming, and wonderful films I have ever seen. The imagery is full of little touches you’ll miss if you blink. The way little bits of the plot emerge into bigger things (like how the letters to Santa start, or the sleigh) are moments to treasure. So much care and thought has gone into this. We and our two boys were captivated from start to finish. Quite simply, it’s possibly the most unique and beautiful Christmas film ever. Even though it’s on Netflix, I’m straight off to the web to try and get a blu-ray copy just in case Netflix ever delete it.
