While I could expect more from the first edition of the next gen console model, the reality is that the game isn’t worse than last season. The regression in gameplay that usually takes place with a console is not evident. The graphics are ok and certainly not groundbreaking but all gameplay is smooth. Audio is fine as well and the various game modes play easily and actually have an easy exit if you want to stop mid session. Throwing remains very fickle and can be annoying at some points in the game but pitching, batting and fielding are all very accurate. Launch angle on batting seems to be more sensitive but I believe that is more on me at this point. Definitely worth purchasing and a good start to the new console family.
