I started watching this for the male lead, like 90% of others here. But even with a hallyu star as cast, I must say that the situations created, the motivation of each character (for example, how contradictory it was for a man of high position and education such as Jang Moo-yong [father of hui-jin] to keep acting out of reason towards the female lead, even until years later. If a sound man has to obsess about something, wouldn't it be more plausible to obsess about catching the real culprit instead?), and the story have so many loopholes. The character development was poor. Among others, I found that the male lead quickly ate his words regarding his nonexistent feelings to suddenly worrying about the girl around episodes 4-6. I'm sticking through for lack of anything else to watch, and curiosity about the cases turn-outs. Their romantic, or "sparky" scenes always came off as forced and unnatural. The female lead - where do I even begin. I'm not sure if it's her character or really just how she doesn't move her mouth much that makes everything she says and how she says them appear like a very squalid attempt to act cute but failing miserably.
