First of all, I'm not a big fan of animation movies. I always considered it as something too far from reality. But there is something special about this movie which makes me watch it again & again. The movie revolves around 2 brothers, Barley & Ian, trying to bring back their deceased father for one day, using the long lost magical power. Movie is telling us that if there is a lil bit of magic in your life, you can do almost anything. Here I would like to replace the word 'magic' with 'love' as it's what the movie full of. The sibling love & the quarrels and sacrifices made from this love are what which makes this movie special. Even if you don't like animation movies pls do spend some time for this one. I'm sure you won't regret it

One time watchable movie. The 3 hour long duration is the major demerit. Many scenes could have been avoided. Songs were included in unwanted places which was really absurd. The movie could have been made better. I recommend it as one which can be watched when you have nothing else to do.

I recommend this as a must watch movie. I watched this to see another Tom Hanks 'magic' but the man who really embraced my heart was Michael Duncans through his portrayal of John Coffey. I consider his acting as the cutest performance ever witnessed. The major plus point of the movie is that it gives a realistic feeling even though it's dealing with superstitious powers. Despite the 3 hour long duration it doesn't lag anywhere & is really a heartwarming one. At the end it will definitely bring tears in your eyes but when you think more about the climax you will understand that sometimes death is a relief as you don't have to face the hardships of the world anymore.
