The acting was top tier, and the story was very interesting. But it had a major issue. The political undertone of the whole thing was painfully obvious, (and this is coming from a thirteen year old) I was made pretty clear in the show that "white people are evil". And I just don't understand why there is a "gay" in every show now. Not that I have a problem with gays, you do you. But it tries to make us feel bad for them, and show how mistreated they are. When in reality most people couldn't care less. So overall the show has potential, but it's just being treated as a political step stool.
