I am so disappointed with this show and am sorry I watched it as it tainted my memory of SATC. Too depressing and overkill on the woke stuff. I loved SATC for the escapism, fun and fashion. AJLT is too ‘real’ for me. I want the escapism!! Death, divorce and sadness are all around us and now beloved characters who we associated with happier times also have to face reality. If this was a stand alone show focusing on grief and moving on I would have avoided it. I suppose my expectations were different so my disappointment worse. Miranda’s character changed completely the only one who is the same is Charlotte. Also how sad that the writers think one year of grief is enough for a beloved soul mate so at the one year mark you scatter his ashes and then get in a lip lock in an elevator with your boss. Very stereotypical. Just so badly written they should have left us with our great SATC memories!!
