Putting your children ahead of yourself is something any "good" mother can certainly understand. Not being selfish was refreshing to see. The characters understood those sacrifices yet came away happy at the end, more than others can say. Just enjoy!

Just finished reading all the one star reviews. Wow, first: didn't people realize the movie was in Japanese? Why go? Boring, seriously? This is the first Godzilla movie that was both a great story line and action sequences. How is anyone going to sit thru 2 hours of Godzilla just breaking things or killing people. You have to feel for the people and they did a remarkable story line. My husband and I went with our son since he wanted to see it. Being 62 years old, we grew up with Godzilla movies on tv. This is by far the "best" Godzilla movie I have ever seen. Throwing back to the original story basis was excellent. Go , sit back and enjoy the show !!!

Love seeing a movie without all of the Hollywood elite with a great script.

WHY? Why make this movie? Being a huge Keanu fan since 1991 and loving all the Matrix movies. I only asked one question? Why would these people make this? Who read the script ? Who invested in this? Why why why? Something that was amazing shouldn't be ruined. Somethings should just be left alone.
