the whole plot should have been 20 minutes of a properly paced movie. Instead what we get is a drag - scenes stretched out, and nothing happening for so much time. The movie feels empty, bereft of plot.

Advice to poster designers. Don't put stuff on people's face.
Our brains have 1000s of neurons dedicated to face recognition. as soon as you put something on the face like you have it just becomes a total eyesore and one cannot watch it anymore.

what pathetic story, screenplay, dialogue and songs. Even Ranveer Singh's sheer brilliance in his role cannot save this horror show of a movie. Dont waste your two odd hours of life.

Like a good novel it grows on you. The characters are lovable. The movie is so good because it makes you think. And what would you think? It's not just a tamil movie. It should be watched by everyone Indian. You can watch with subtitles on some streaming platforms
