I absolutely love this movie! It wouldn't be the Christmas season without it. Yes, by today's standards there are "racist" black faced numbers, but let's not forget this was made in 1942. It was a different time. I don't think there was any racism intended, just trying to tell a story. Lighten up people!!! The music, the dancing, the romance..Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire at their finest!! For once just sit back and enjoy!!
