Many incorrect facts about the Jewish religion and practice. No Jewish person I know would ever describe something as “Jewy” as the main character often does. The book is offensive and not worth my time to finish. There is no substance in the story and the plot is ridiculous.

Very predictable. It turned into a basic romance novel. Not very interesting to read over and over again about about her sneaking away to use the “toilet” or tying her breasts flat. The only thing that held my interest was reading place names of battles, however, even that became repetitive and boring.

As I was watching this I thought “Oh no! Is this a Nicholas Sparks story with a contrived and sad ending?!” And of course it was. So annoyed. I would have stopped watching it earlier.

I didn’t even watch the first episode as it doesn’t look realistic. There were no Africans or black Englishmen/women in aristocratic families. Why would producers make a drama that is not believable? I can watch Disney for that.

The story line was very interesting and plausible and the characters were so developed that they felt real. I loved seeing Jerusalem and other parts of Israel. I just watched the last episode and I’m going to really miss my nightly Srugim!
