Terrifying. I first watched The Shining in 1980 and even now, 40+ years later it still resonates with me. A true feeling of evil when you watch it. It doesn't depend on the usual horror gimmicks or gore to reel you in. It's psychologically disturbing and the more you watch and analyze it the more terrifying it becomes.

This movie was everything when I was a teenager in the 80s. It's a fun film to dissect, and surely it's one you must let resonate.
It's creative, frightening and genius.
