Not a movie based on boxing.
In an era of biopics this movie completely crosses the line between reality and fantasy.
Poor Aziz ali born as an orphan also loses his wife in an accident in the second half of the movie.
This is not enough for the story tellers to reflect Ali's character as an underdog. unwarranted communal references and social agendas are dragged into the plot to fuel his underdog character.
Filmakers are expected to make more sensible and realistic movies if they are making a movie based on a sport. They are expected to determine the hardhsips sports persons face in their lives and what would be practical and realistic under those hard circumstances to win over the world. There's a thin line between dramatization and overhyping.
In a country where peoples opinions are swayed by movies, unwarranted and unfortunate communal references and over hyping an underdog may not be the right approach for a movie maker to build the plot.
Verdict:
Watch it as a fantasy movie and not as a sports inspiration
