Nichol Davis

I tried really hard to be patient and like it. I tried to give it a few episodes, but I couldn't quite force myself to love it. It was like a train wreck you can't look away from at first, but I shut it off for good just minutes into episode 6. I hate it. Carrie is still squealing like a 12 year old school girl like there's no maturity to her character. Miranda is awkward and being trampled on by everyone in her life, but instead of her being strong, she's a drunk instead? And Charlotte has zero depth. She's pathetic. They act like women in their 50s are ancient and crippled. This show used to be fun, but it's no fun now. It's sad and dark and uninteresting. The death at the beginning was awful, but what was more awful was dealing with the real life death of Willie Garson. A post it note, and no more mention? They bumbled that one badly. The "wokeness" is the worst though. It's so forced right from the get go, and it only gets worse. It's like they're force feeding it, and a lot of it, to touch every single topic they can think of in an inorganic way. It's so PC that between that, and the characters that haven't evolved at all (and actually seemed to have gone backwards), I've "PC'd" it in my own home. Permanently canceled. It's a shame because they had so much potential, and they threw it away.
