a romance novel that managed to slip in the history of the packhorse library. I felt it was simply written — simple dialogue between characters— other than Margery, Sven and Fred I didn’t manage to see or feel for the other characters except to say “ really ?” A lot of stereotypical Kentucky hill people. I wouldn’t have read this if it wasn’t chosen for my bookclub
