Calling it Tom Clancy's Without Remorse is very misleading, and does no justice either to the film, or to the very good book from which it takes its title. I read the book years ago, and really enjoyed it. Because I enjoyed the book so much I watched the film with high expectations, which were so not met! The film bears virtually zero resemblance to the book apart from the name of the main character, and that his wife dies (not much of a spoiler, it is the main driver for the film plot). As an action film it is OK, I've seen better, I've seen worse. As Tom Clancy's Without Remorse it was deeply disappointing. Change the name and it would be an OK bit of escapist action for a couple of hours or so.
