Absolutely dreadful. It's as if they never bothered to read the book. Poor script, poor acting, unrelated to the real premis of Wells intentions. Just another typical TV adaption 'blockbuster', the way the yanks would have done it, never mind the essence of the story, it might get in the way of the effects and melodrama!! Rubbish..
