I am a firm believer on "if it isn't broken then don't fix it" and sadly once again, a director decides to remake an original which should have been left well alone. The main characters are supposed to be ones you can get behind and support, but I found myself hoping they were both wiped out as early in the film possible. I stuck with the film (begrudgingly) hoping to see a new twist or something different and I'm afraid to say there's nothing here new at all. I am hoping Directors have an aphiphany and want to make their own, new movies with storylines that are engaging and different. Unfortunately, the world of film seems more interested in jumping on previous movies and making them worse than the original. Very dissapointing.

Was all going well until the Irish Guy turns up. Terrible acting by him and way over the top. Jake is good as always so no surprises there, but 99% of the cast feel like they just don't belong in their role and I found myself tutting and shaking my head repeatedly. Such a shame as the original was good. Sometimes it's best to leave things alone and this was one of them.

These films have never been master pieces, but they were always fun to watch. Sadly, through this one, I was laughing for the wrong reasons. Some of the actresses and actors in this movie are shockingly terrible. The woman copper is the worst of a bad bunch. No Terry Stone is a major disappointment, this Franchise IS him and Craig. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this one guys.

PRO'S *Great relationship build up between the two main characters. *Great action scenes *A movie which gets you rooting for both characters at different points. *All cast are excellent. CONS *Would have liked more depth when he returns to Afghanistan to repay his debt, as seemed a little too quick An excellent movie which will not leave you disappointed. Highly recommended

Still one of my favourite TV shows along with "The Wire". Dark, Gritty and often brutal, it's a very well written show, which even though some characters have committed terrible crimes, you still somehow end up liking some of them. Each inmate is introduced with their back story and how they ended up where they did. Along with the inmates, you see the warden and his team (some are just as bad as the cons) trying to keep the inmates in check, but just like in real life, it's the cons who really control the prison. A must watch which is still relevant today.

Still one of the greatest TV series ever made in my opinion. Dark, Gritty and deep. Featuring a young Michael B Jordan and Idris Elba, it tells the story of the hustle in the projects and the cat and mouse game with the cops trying to shut it all down. Great acting from all cast members and directed and produced perfectly. This and OZ are two shows I can watch over and over again. Only show I have enjoyed since is Snowfall. All 3 shows are a must watch in my opinion.

From the very beginning of this movie, I was continuously shaking my head and felt bad that I was going to watch this. Straight away, I was rooting for Peter and just the thought of being in that situation, made my stomach turn. It was often hard to watch, and made me feel ashamed of my skin colour all the way through it. Will Smith portrays the pain, the fight, the love for his family in an absolute acting masterclass, as so did everyother actor/actress involved. A movie well worth watching, and a must see in my opinion. Sadly, the world still needs educating on racism, and I believe that this movie could be the start.

What an absolutely amazing movie.

When i heard this movie was being made, i doubted that they could make it as good as the original. Sadly, i was right. We didnt enjoy this at all, and found myself looking at my phone more than i did the tv. Unfortunately, another Roald Dahl remake that failed to live up to my expectations. The original is so much better, and i really wouldn't reccomend this movie to anyone. Worst movie i have seen from 2020.

Pretty fun film, but i wouldn't class it as a horror movie. We have all at one point fantasized over something we should or shouldn't have done, so this movie explores the fantasies of a group of people. It shows that fantasies are not always as they would/should seem. Its your standard "Group of people all band together to fight in the end" movie with a little twist,but i enjoyed it and had to watch to the end. Not the greatest, but have seen worse. Quite a few comical moments and all the characters are pretty likeable. 4 out of 5 for me.
