3 stars because they went "woke" and broke the show...
My favorite doctor was and will always be Tom Baker, the Fourth Doctor, but I greatly enjoyed the work of Eccleston when the series was reborn, Tennant did a super job taking over for when Eccleston left, Smith reintroduced the audience to a boyish, whimsical doctor we could all love and cheer for, and Capaldi gave us a much wiser, darker glimpse into a flamboyant doctor reminiscent of when Pertwee took the reigns, but more like a rockstar.
And then the show went "woke" and I've never watched it again. You're better off viewing the early years from the 1st doctor (it's tough to watch, but you should, to the 7th doctor (who is often hilarious), then enjoy the modern versions.
I don't know anyone that cares for the 13th doctor and since she's leaving next year there may be a chance the series will stop with the wokeness and get back to the stuff that made it great.
