The best film version of this beloved classic to date. At 63 years old I’ve seen them all. This one was not the same recitation and will be hard to top or follow. Can’t imagine anyone feeling the need to try. Beautifully written script, creative direction, and strong acting. Please don’t miss this on the big screen. Wish it had been better promoted as it seemed to be overlooked in our local cinema. Hope more young people will turn out to view this meaningful film.
