For Vijays fans who wouldn't mind some far fetched themes this is probably a mass entertainer.. for folks who expect something slightly better they are in for big disappointment... it feels more like an ad for vijay to enter the political arena than a cohesive plot..the plot is best described as meandering..they try to talk about team spirit..but when bigil n team wins the football cup he tells his father I won it...not the team.. he gets to keep the cup in his house.. they talk about a rival group n there is a villain there..there's another villain in Jackie shroff.. then another in manipur team coach... then suddenly he's shown to inspire the women football team..all kinds of scenes inspired from chak de india can be seen in that ...phew how can one man be so good one wonders..what was the purpose of the older vijay? Just to keep repeating the cup is important? 🙄 ..very forgettable.if they had really wanted to showcase sportswomen they could have given a tighter plot with those 11 girls in the centre... and a guy who inspires them..not this character that hogs the limelight... the movie drags at many places with no logic to the rescue... such a product from attlee .. who gave us the likes of raja rani
