This game is one of THOSE types of games. It's my guilty pleasure really. A kind of so bad it's good/funny sort of ways. A real attack of the killer tomato's if you know what I mean.
It's got a decent story and threw a few curve balls my way even if it's largely predictable. The travel is slow, but you get some very... Interesting movie trivia in between locations if you like to listen to York talk to himself.
Collectables and sidequests are available to those who care enough to do them but I easily spent about thirty hours getting through the story on intrigue alone.
Something about strange paranormal weirdness in the middle of a murder spree mystery, trying to find the real killer, an Oedipus complex, a cross dressing gay guy, a soundtrack that's awkward for the ages and sound effects that still make me yell pew pew when I see boxes has stuck in my mind for nearly a decade. There's no reason not to play this game now with how cheap it is.
