As a former child that loved the Naked Gun movies I was very concerned that the new edition would not be good or do the franchise justice. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the film. Was it perfect, no, but I laughed out loud more times than I could count. I think they did a great job bringing the film into the 2020s by getting cutting back a bit on the corny slapstick and adding more, edgier humor. For anyone that was a fan as a kid, I highly recommend you check it out. I bet I will enjoy it more on a rewatch.

Its okay. Ends alright in that it's entertaining, but not fulfilling for the legacy. The worst part is the pacing throughout. You never get to take a breath and assess what the hell is happening. Disaster occurs, they resolve it, rinse and repeat. I didn't hate it, just didn't really enjoy it all that much.
