I’ve been playing this through with my 7 year old daughter and it’s far and away the best family co op game we have ever played. Both of us truly have to work together to get through every area If one player stays alive you don’t fail, but you can’t progress until both team members meet whatever challenge there is.
Those challenges are wild! Lots of variety in the gameplay and ideas, but they are smoothly transitioned to. I’m incredibly impressed at how many good ideas they crammed in here without making it feel disjointed.
If you’re looking for something fun to play with a friend, child, or partner this will not disappoint.
