I agree with all the other reviews that this was a thrilling read. I read it within 4 days. I couldn’t stop reading it, just wanting to read the next chapter time and again.

Would have given NO stars if it had been possible! Just wanted to try and prevent anyone else from wasting their precious time watching this terrible film.
I personally did not understand any part of it from beginning to end.
It makes you wonder how it even managed to be produced.
Please do not watch it 😩

Often dramas based on a good book fall short but not in this case.
I was enthralled from start to finish, such a moving emotional and enchanting drama with every character playing their part.

Absolutely loved this!
Was worried after reading the book and watching the film with Ann Hathaway in that it wouldn’t live up to standard but I was wrong.
The storyline kept true to the book and the acting was superb especially Leo.
Couldn’t stop watching once I’d started. Would highly recommend ☺️

Absolutely loved this film. Such a good story & so emotive. Partly subtitled but this didn’t take anything away from the film. Definitely would recommend to watch it! 😊

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I thought the first half was better re the storyline but at times felt a bit far fetched and complicated in the latter half. I would have given 4.5 star rating if I could & I will def be reading more of the authors books.

I found this book very weird. It was too short and I thought didn’t have much of a story line.
Very disappointing & has put me off reading any more of her books. Sorry but I have to be honest!

Absolutely loved it! The stage settings were stunning and the individual performances were fab. My favourite was the candlestick actor. Would definitely recommend. Did the film & book justice of our old time favourite 👍
