Truth is always stranger than fiction. We do not like to think about the seedier side of life, or believe we as a people are capable of acts that tear at the fabric of our lives. This is a story of unbelievable acts of harm upon one woman and her family by institutions and individuals, and her journey to rise above it all and prosper. It is a heartbreaking story that reads like fiction. Well written, raw, and very real. The faith, hope, and determination of this woman in her adversity is inspirational, and gives me the strength to continue fighting the good fight. A must read for all. It is difficult to put this book down.
