I was completely overwhelmed with Taron Egerton's performance! To think, I almost skipped this movie because I couldn't see "Eggsy" as Elton John. He & the movie are fantastical!!! I almost forgot I wasn't actually watching Elton John on screen. I've seen it 3 times in a less than a month & plan on watching it again & again & again! I'm left completely clueless on why this movie (& especially Taron Egerton) were snubbed by the Oscars! Especially after Rami Malek winning the best actor award the year before in a performance/movie that didn't come close to Taron Egerton's/Rocketman. This movie is exactly what you'd expect of the fabulously, flamboyant Elton John!
