Started off well but somewhere lost pace in the 2nd half of the movie. Ending would be hard to understand for those who haven't read the book. Didn't mind the runtime but at least they could've ended it with a proper explanation.

I don't understand why people have given all these negative reviews. I binge watched it in a day and it was that addictive. I am usually bored but since this a true event, it kept me hooked and Eric Bana's acting was very good.

Exactly the kind of horror that we deserve. Horror movies should not have to rely on jump scares to make a mark all the time. This was a great tale of love, friendship, awakening, mystery and most importantly social evils prevalent in 17th and 18th century of Bengal.
