This movie is too bad and does not live up to the expectations set by the first part. The film is a drag and you will be waiting when it will get over. It is that gruesome and illogical guys. Avoid it like the plague.

The film does not have an iota of story. It is just some random violence scenes involving dhanush randomly shooting the colonial British. The director has done no justice to Dhanush and unapologetically made him part of this nonsense which parades itself as a period drama. Highly regret my time and money spent for this film. Avoid at all costs.

I usually don't write reviews for movies. But for this I need to - since it is rated so highly. My only pique is that it does not deserve the rating it has been bestowed. Yes, the movie is offbeat and explores a theme which very well needs to come to light: the plight of primary schools in India's hinterland. But the movie could ve been made more interesting - because duh, it is a movie. The characters are bland and non-inspiring. There is not an ouce of story in the script. A better watch along these themes would be Panchayat. This was a huge let down. As far as school reform movies are considered, Jyothika's Raatchasi in Tamil is a better watch than this. It presents the social topic in an interesting and witty way that can keep the user hooked. Absolutely avoid this movie. Also, ppl who are rating this movie so highly - pls reflect it vs other movies and then do it. Peace!!!

Guys, do yourself a favour and avoid this movie altogether if you want 140 minutes of your life to be saved. Here are some reasons: - the movie's highlights tell the whole story - Story is not interesting and just drags on with no hooks - There is some effort at humor which falls flat badly - The male protagonist is so not in touch with reality and talks in a cringeworthy manner - A single isolated instance makes a father believe in his son, whom he had not thought worth of anything for the whole life. Talk of melodrama! - the male protagonist takes his wife for granted, and has the moral & ethical maturity of a school boy - Movie is littered with cacophonous songs, which hardly add any flavor - Overall with the 8+ IMDb rating, I feel cheated for having watched this cringe-fest. The only bright spot is Sanya, who has done her best with such a ----script. These movie houses have cracked the secret to get high IMDb scores and are fooling people with that. Pls dont fall for it.

I will save you some time. The movie is fabulous, go and watch it now. Though it is filled with action to the hilt, the background score and the story keeps it going. Kudos Marvel!!!

Really nice movie. Although the ending was somewhat feeka. One can watch it just for Rajkummar Rao's fine acting. He has absolutely nailed it in this movie. Ayushmann is being a bit away from his usual chocolate boy character, but acts nicely as a heartbroken aashiq. Recommended!

One of the better HBO shows - filled with family and business rivalry. Also shows the life and behavior of the ultra-rich. Worthy watch

I don't know how, but this movie is pathetically boring. There is a good amount of time being spent on world building, but we see nothing useful happen with all that info in the 2.5 hrs. I kept glancing at my watch to check when the movie is gonna end. It is that boring. Considering, they are building up to something, the part 1 released now has no story whatsoever, and you know what the end is gonna be, as they show it all in the main protagonists visions. May be the part 2 will be worth watching, but I still wouldn't recommend spending money on this. Maybe you can watch it in your TV. Surprisingly, Zimmer's score is not on point this time. The movie is filled with some random noise claiming to be BGM. Denis Villeneuve has surely lost the magic touch this time, one that he had in Blade Runner. Absolute NO NO!!!
