Not the game you wanted, but the game you needed. Took me places I didn't want to go, made me feel things I didn't want to feel, made me do things I didn't want to do. And I needed all those things to understand the real horror of this world. It would have been so easy to do a violent revenge story, but TLOU 2 told a much richer story of the complexities of hate and grief and love and guilt.
So much better than i could have ever hoped for, and my expectations were high. Thank you Naughty Dog. GOTY.
