The most awaited and the final movie of 2018 finally releases in cinemas and if it's worth your time, here is my review of Rohit Shetty's Simmba. A dhamaka is set to evolve in the box office.
What's Good: Ranveer Singh is pleasing to watch, Action sequences are well choreographed and well shot, Cinematography looks great, Ajay Devgan Cameo as Bajirao Singham and Sara looks beautiful. Oh...and someone else also appears in Simmba. Aankhon Maare and other songs are good. Rohit Shetty signature direction is what keeps you on the seat.
What's Bad: This adds nothing new to the remake Temper, Sonu Sood doesn't look authentic and character is too similar of which from Dabangg, VFX needs work, story is average and cliched at best. Screenplay also needs work and a forced message of women empowerment is redundant and has already been established in Indian Cinema. Duration can be minimised by 30 mins and edit out the unnecessary scenes that add nothing to the entire plot anyway.
Should You Watch It: Yes but leave your mind at home. If you have watched Temper don't bother watching this. This is masala at its best and Ranveer Singh is a powerhouse of energy that energisers the film. Without Ranveer this film is average and only for audience who enjoy films like Golmaal and Singham.
Rating: 3 Stars out of 5
Simmba Roars and provides thunderous entertainment that only is visible in Rohit Shetty's Simmba.
Happy New Year Folks.
