Absolute rubbish. I don’t know the pretense everyone else went in with but I watched it on Netflix and the synopsis they put on the series made out that there was a dark twist that would shock everyone regarding the truth of what really happened. Instead, it was 6 drawn out episodes where they suspected the parents, put a case together, went to trial, found them guilty, and then sent them to prison. No twist, no revelation, just one track, from A to B, and at snails pace. Do yourself a favour and watch something else.

Wow they literally took A Quiet Place and substituted every major plot point with something slightly different. Not sure what it is but this film just lacks. It is not one you’re going to remember. You’ll either think it’s average or you’ll be spewing you wasted the time. No upside here. Watch something else.

My goodness how utterly disappointing. I came online to read reviews before watching. Saw all the amazing reviews and was pretty keen to watch it. After watching it, I specifically came back online to see where all the negative reviews were hiding cos this film was atrocious. Some good ideas, but for what some positive reviews were alluding to - “future cult classic” “reminded me of Donnie Darko” “there aren’t any emotions in the field of psychology to describe how I’m feeling after watching this masterpiece…” My goodness what were these people watching? Having now read the negative reviews after watching the film, let me give you the hot tip, the negative reviews are more accurate and the positive ones have been overstated by what I now see are people who probably feel strongly about the underlying subtext of the film and simply resonated with those ideals causing them to think more highly of the movie. For the rest of us who want to be entertained not virtue signalled, this film is trash. Not even close to being in line with the hype being put forth in these reviews.

First and last third was fantastic, middle third was boring. The chick who is being protected by connor and arnold has terrible acting and let the film down. Arnold took too long to show up and cant reconcile the fact that a terminator has somehow grown grey hair? Do they age? Apart from that as a whole package I really liked it. You look past the plot hole of ageing terminator because of course u cant make arnie look young again lol. Good old fashioned back to the old days terminator :) very enjoyable and nostalgic
