Just when I was certain I was done with TV shows, Top Boy engaged me from start to finish - action, crime, drama, thriller. Ensure to watch Top Boy Summer House first. I was already 3 episodes into the new one before I found out there was Top Boy Summer House first.

I have waited for this long enough; it did not disappoint. This movie has a deep story, fantastic character development, good suspense and superb stunts. I was warned that it was boring. This must have been because the person that warned me did not have the patience to see the characters and the story develop. When a movie is star-studded, it is only befitting that the script and directing deliver and this one did. Jason Momoa replicates his Baba Voss sword fighting moves. The movie ended with a cliff-hanger, thereby giving us a clue that the story's only just begun.

I watched this in 4DX 3D and what an experience. I liked the first Venom and wondered what the second would be like. It is worth the wait with a breathtaking movie. The movie brings a good blend of action, comedy and suspense. I won't be putting spoilers so I will just say the story is decent. I still think creating a villian (Carnage) as an offspring of the hero (Venom) feels like a get-rich quick scheme. Carnage procreated through Cletus biting Eddie is weird but created a reason for the good battle that ensued. I will recommend Venom for the laughs and thrills.

Coming 2 America is awesome! I am glad I watched this before reading what the critics wrote. The movie is on-point and a very rhythmic romantic comedy with a lot of African touches. Eddie Murphy and the old crew were funny still and the story build-up is very decent. Wesley Snipes reminds me of (Terry Crews in Blended) but wish Rotimi (Dre of Power) had more lines and scenes. It was good to see the like of Morgan Freeman, Gladys Knight and others were good. Talking about music, seeing Davido perform at the wedding and seeing John Legend at the end is epic. And the voices of Burna Boy and others put a lot of made-in-Africa music and personalities in the mix. MY RECOMMENDATION: Do not read any nonsense, just watch it and enjoy it!

This was a very good watch with a good balance of story, suspense, thrill and action. Fair enough, this was a draggy start with the story building up and me trying to figure out if it was going to be a horror movie or superhero one. However, it all comes together in the end and is a very good movie. The scary/semi-horror bits were not scary the moment you realise it is simply Dani unconsciously using her powers of bringing your greatest fears to life and making you live in it. I recommend this movie for a normal moviegoer who is not overcritical of a good piece of work.

The movie was very good as a musical especially if you are yet to see the theatrical rendition as I think most of the harsh reviews are from those that have seen it in the theatre. It has fallen short, however, of the great expectation I have had waiting for it to hit the cinema for months. The fact that it was star-studded and there was lots of promotion for it made it more disappointing (waste of assets). The actors and actresses, the voices and dancing were on-point though. I think the directing and perhaps the complicated message/story is what few people including me cannot comprehend. After almost an hour in, I was desperately wondering when, where and how it will end (perhaps boredom).
