Ito’s wyrd fiction is certainly on the nose with its themes and allure. But its still an enjoyable read, waiting for the big reveal pages and gory human desiccations. He’s more fascinated with the concepts than a complex or layered story, and as someone who can get hung up on intricate details, I find that commendable.

I'm stunned at the number of shills actually rating this painfully mediocre movie so highly. Poorly scripted voice acting, horrid new 52 take on an old hero, and just overall nonsensical plot bs. Only good thing about it was basically the typical western style of fast paced action, and even then it wasn't enough.
But it was goddamn funny, unintentionally. So maybe it does deserve praise for that :0)
