Rather lame without Kevin Spacey. The writers and directors(including Robin Wright) tried to overcompensate by attempting to Claire into a more psychotic and extreme version of Frank. Which is ahem frankly idiotic. Frank never openly broke laws and protocol(except on rare occasions) and operated mostly behind the scenes. Here Claire openly flouts conventions and behaves in a manner than would have her removed from office in her first 100 days itself.
And what was this nonsense about firing her entire cabinet and having only female staff . Dont these have to vetted by the Senate? It is concievable she would be able to get away with such an act.
It seems like plain wish fullfillment for many aging feminists who comprise this show's fanbase.
