I hoped this would be a show I could watch with my younger brothers, particularly because I loved the original, but apparently I was wrong. This show includes blatant child grooming and pedophilia. Not only that, the relationship is shown to be normal and romantic. It is not something I would be comfortable exposing impressionable children to. The show also markets itself as one that depicts women and girls as strong and independent but it actually does the opposite. The women of the original series are reduced to wives and mother's with no hint of their original glory. The three main characters also are so overpowered that it makes you think the writers don't believe girls can take a hit. Overall, this series is a very boring, half-baked shadow of the original.
