I have no idea how this show has such good reviews, it’s terrible. There’s no chemistry with the main characters, it’s not witty or any way charming. I find it quite stereotyped and cringey. Ultimately I have no interest in the characters and it’s disappointing as I do like Kirsten Bell. This show was made for mindless viewers. Time I won’t get back again.

After I realised Nesbit’s eyebrows I couldn’t take it seriously. Terrible storyline and it’s basically just him arguing with a new character each episode. I made it to episode 5 and decided it was time to move on but by the sounds of things I didn’t miss much.

Boring. I felt this film was not Christmassy in the slightest. It was damp and lacked any sort of fun festive humour. I get it was about someone who wasn’t comfortable with being who they were to their family, which many people go through, but it was just bland. I didn’t associate to any of the characters, the family were annoying, I was just just disappointed in this movie. As part of the LGBTQ community I empathise with the difficulties of being your true self, but I just thought this film would have had more pizazz and it didn’t. Don’t waste your time!
