Spectacular, visually riveting, fascinating, informative but leaves unanswered many questions. For example, how do we know the mating rituals of some dinosaurs? Is it reflected in the behavior of modern day birds? Fossilized species courting? If so, this should be made clear. Like wise causes of climate change are well-depicted, but need more explanation. What caused the separation of antarctica from what is now South America? Tectonic plate shift? Why did new ocean currents cool the world? But it is effective going back and forth in history to show the parallel existence of dinosaurs and small mammals.
I wished they had shown the names of the featured animals as they were mentioned too briefly in the narration. I hope they continue the series with the ascent of man forward to the current Anthropocene era..
