I could write at length about how this show promises character growth and development, but falls well short of achieving any of that. I will be brief. The MC proves himself repeatedly to be a pedophile, a sexual deviant who manipulates adults and sexually assaults children in the disguise of a child. The fan service is excessive, and the side characters are most often less than impressive in terms of writing. I can't help but feel flabbergasted at how this show is so highly appraised.
