Stargirl has become one of my favorite television shows of all-time. It has the perfect blend of humour and action. The production value, visual effects, acting, writing, story and characters are all superb. Its characters are all extremely likable and have such rich and exciting backstories. The series follows a 15 year old Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl who decides to recruit new JSA heroes after discovering Starman's cosmic staff. It introduces a range of JSA heroes and ISA villains who are perfectly casted and immensely fleshed out characters. Among those are Yolanda Montez aka Wildcat, Rick Tyler aka Hourman, Pat Dugan aka Stripe or Stripesy, and Beth Chapel aka Dr. Mid-nite. Of course, the main protagonist Courtney Whitmore portrayed by the talented Brec Bassinger is amazing and definitely the best live action portrayal of the DC character. I cannot wait till the series returns with a second season in 2021.

The sheer joy that this show gives me is indescribable. It is action packed and filled with amazing performances by all actors especially Stephen Amell who portrays the titular hero Green Arrow. The writing of the show is impeccable and each episode is entertaining from start to finish. The flashbacks showcasing Oliver Queen's time on the island Lian Yu and how he transformed into this brooding and remorseful vigilante, later known as the Green Arrow is perfectly put together. The shifts from present day to the flashbacks could not be any better. When the show introduced the idea of the flash forwards, I was shook and completely mind blown. Oliver Queen developed immensely as a character throughout the course of the show. Stephen Amell is a terrific actor and fits perfectly to the role. The show could not have cast a better actor to portray Oliver Queen aka the Green Arrow. I am truly going to miss this show when it wraps up its final season in early 2020. Hopefully they will end with a bang.
