The process is clearly defined and explained with activites and projects using COCA, AntWordProfiler and AntConc which are really helpful for a beginner. The section on Statistics and its software may be harder for some of us who are outside of a university campus because the SPSS software is not freely accessible and because we have not practiced statistics for a long time. I suggest this book to linguistics students who may not have a chance to do corpus linguistics in their BA program.
