Great book. Great story. Wonderful illustrations. But i have an uncomfortable memory from this book. I remember my teacher reading this to us in elementary school and it made me feel extremely squeamish (easily made to feel sick, faint, or disgusted at a sight such as the sight of blood). This books has a some blood in it. its not really that extreme, but hopefully your kids wont mind seeing a tiny bit of blood if you decide to read this to them.
