What I have noticed from the start is the wardrobe.. Rafael wears the most beautiful shirts,,, Micheal a but lower scale, but very tasteful. the women are all perfectly color coded and the fabrics on both the shirts and dresses are amazing.... so aside from story, which to me is a sophisticated soap opera its well done and I am going thru the series... The only way to watch any series. and BTW, the beach sene where Jane and Rafael were sitting had Long Beach in the background.
