This is the worst need for speed I have played, and I played hot pursuit. That's bad. I overpayed at $12, I feel. What is this ridiculous crash cam? Why does it interrupt everything so I can watch my car be upside down? It is the most maddening thing you couldve done to a fictional racing game, if I wanted those kinds of consequences I'd go play Forza. Just remake most wanted, same driving mechanics and hard edges, just give it a reboot and a different story line. NfS: Most wanted will remain NfS gold. Also, the absolutely tiny amount of force it takes to crash in this 2016 version is what makes hard to accept. You make any tiny error over 150 mph and you are as screwed in that game as you are in real life, the only difference is you don't actually die in he game, but you might as well. You have to go faster to get back ahead, increasing your chance of mistake, objects aren't clear, raceway isn't clear, you race I oncoming traffic more often than not, you HAVE to drift around a corner, or else the car simply won't turn into it unless the car basically comes to a stop and turns and it is then very hard not to over correct and spin back out. It is a LOT like driving in real life. This is need for speed. I'm not impressed and I only see the same people online everyday, so those ppl might like it but apparently no one else does. I love the graphics and the upgrading and the garage, but the tuning is a little intense, I mean, I a car guy, I like the details but I don't need all that in a game, and it makes such a big impact on the gameplay. It took me a week to dial in my daily driver. Then you have to remember how you had it all set up for drifting versus other, but essentially you MUST tune for drifting or you will not make fast looping corners which are everything in this game. I have driven all the boss cars, they're decent but give you no particular edge. The hoonigan is the best boss car hands down. Able to keep a straight line and drift, but Al are in tunable, why? It's My CAR, I will melt it down for scrap metal if i want, so give me tuning options. I beat the story mode with the original foxbody you get in the beginning and a Dodge viper in like 13 hours..two cars. The story mode was atrocious and the characters are all a bunch of Dbags, except the story mission characters like Ken Block, legit awesome dude. I'd departiculate Spike if he got in my face like that. Straight up. Hated. The. Story line. As usual my character is nobody. Useless to me as a gamer, I win races but I have no face or personality and everyone loves me, why? Anyway, I give this 4/10 and that's after MONTHS of game play, i have it plenty of benefit of the doubt.
