Over all I really liked the show. I like the plot, the take on zombies and what made them is neat, and the characters are fun. I am concerned going into the second season though. Spoilers below: It feels like they're about to go into Jon snow and Danny territory with Josh and Sam, and that was horrible when GoT did it. Sam is a pretty nuanced character. She is independent, intelligent, sex positive, and forceful. She also clearly has some underlying issues. I appreciate that they didn't smash them back together in a sappy romance plot, but the idea that she is about to be the new antagonist is kind of gross. If that's the direction season 2 takes, I definitely won't be watching. That said, if they subvert that idea, I would be pleased. I'm just tired of seeing strong female characters turned into villains because people can't handle strong female characters.
