This movie blew me away! I don't understand why the ratings for this film are so low. Criminally underrated. Really really good!

Only very few movies can make you fall in love with them. The music, the story, the performances, the direction, all go a long way in making that happen. The Last Samurai is one such incredible experience. When you realise movies like this never happen anymore, you know how important it is to appreciate them. When I say that The Last Samurai is an extraordinary movie, one with a soul, and a great passion for storytelling, i do so with all my heart!

Such lazy writing and uninteresting characters. Don't bother.

Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. This movie is a breath of fresh air. One of the most beautiful films ever made. Woody Allen has done an exceptional job in bringing this fantasy to life. And the entire cast is perfect. There's nothing more to add.

This movie is the best example why malayalam film industry is world's ahead of any other industry in India. The pure emotions portrayed by all the actors and the most heart wrenching story makes this a masterpiece beyond comparison. The climax of this movie, where Mohanlal trembles, smiles and cries together, is one of the best and most emotional ones ever shot. He is an unparalleled genius. The naturality of all the actors and especially Mohanlal's, makes this one of the greatest ever movies made.
